Kayaking Georgian Bay details over 30 kayaking routes on Georgian Bay, one of Canada's best sea kayaking destinations. The routes are of varying degrees of difficulty. The areas covered are the Georgian Bay shore line from the, difficult waters along the precipitous cliffs of the Bruce Peninsula following all along the coast up to the sheltered inner shores of Prince Edward Island off Killarney. The book opens with the particulars of paddling this inland sea before getting to the route descriptions. The route descriptions include difficulty, length, maps, charts, access and other details including equipment rental and more.

Bruce Trail - An Adventure along the Niagara Escarpment The book provides excellent information on the trail but it's greatest value perhaps is the insight it brings into the world of that unique animal, the thru-hiker. The Bruce is so often looked at from the perspective of the day or weekend hiker (which is understandable given its location and wealth of easy access points) but this world class backpacking trail also needs to be seen as the exceptional end-to-end hike that it is. The authors provide lots of fresh insights and information if you aspire to hike the whole thing.
