Outdoor Clubs & Associations
Outdoor clubs and associations are key to almost all of our recreational activities. Building and maintaining trails, documenting routes, negotiating accesss, raising awareness are just some of their essential activities. Even many of our parks are supported by "friends" that provide volunteers and assistance to our often cash strapped park authorities. Clubs also have one other benefit which shouldn't be overlooked, local knowledge, which may be impossible to come across anywhere else. Do you're part, join up, pitch in or at the very least make a cash contribution to a worthy group to ensure they continue with the effort.  

Our catagories include groups involved in one of or a combination of the following: nature study, cycling, mountain biking, sea kayaking, white water paddling, canoeing, hiking, backpacking, cross country skiing, climbing, mountaineering.
