The ski resort is located in world renown Banff National Park. The view from the slopes is one of the most spectacular in the world. The resort has an excellent terrain park, over 100km of cross country skiing as well as backcountry and telemark skiing. You'll also find more than 5km of designated snowshoe trails. The village has a wide variety of accommodations, restaurants and retail shops and of course the mineral hotsprings are just waiting for you. .

Getting There

Calgary provides the closest International Airport. The airport has connections (often direct) to major centres throughout the world. From Calgary Lake Louise is about a 2hr drive (rental cars and bus service are available). Take Highway 1 (Trans Canada Highway) west from Calgary and continue approxiimately 60km passed Banff to the town of Lake Louise. Shuttle service is availble in town and from the town of Banff. Grouse Mountain overlooks the city of Vancouver from North Vancouver a short drive from the downtown area. Take Georgia St. to Stanley park and continue over the Lion's Gate. Follow the North Vancouver exit to Marine Drive then watch for Capilano Rd. Follow Capilano for about 5km to the tram. You can also access the mountain with public transit.

There are lots of good cross country, snowshoeing (stay off the ski trails) and hiking trails available on the mountain along the L'escapade.

Rigaud is located in the Monteregie region approximately 100km northwest of Montreal. From Montreal take highway 40 (Trans Canada) west and take exit 12 into Rigaud, turn left on St-Jean-Baptiste St, then turn left on St-Pierre St. From Ottawa take the 17 to Quebec where it turns into the 40 then take exit 9 into Rigaud, turn right on St-Jean-Baptiste, then turn right on St-Pierre St. Location Map. Mont Tremblant is located in the Laurentians Region of Quebec approximately 125km (78 miles) north of Montreal. The nearest airports are Mirabel and Dorval International (Montreal). Another option if your flying is Ottawa International Airport. If your flying into Canada via Toronto you would still have a 6-7 hour (longer in winter) drive ahead of you if you wished to visit the resort. From Montreal take the Laurentain Autoroute (autoroute des Laurentides), highway 15 north until it turns into the 117 north at Ste-Agathe. Follow the 117 just passed Saint-Jovite to the intersection at Montee Ryan where you take a right at the lights onto Montee Ryan. Keep going to the end and follow the resort signs. From Ottawa take cross into Hull and pick up highway 50 then the 148 east to Montebello where you pick up the 323 north which will take you to St Jovite. Take the underpass at the end of the 323 and make a left at the lights to pick up the 117.Follow the 117 just passed Saint-Jovite to the intersection at Montee Ryan where you take a right at the lights onto Montee Ryan.
