Seen moving from the shadows into the light. Peering into one of the external common areas of one of the

city's hallowed halls of higher learning, Concordia University. The University is located on de Maisonneuve

with buildings scattered all over the immediate neighbourhood, as well as in Montreal West, where

you'll find the Loyola Campus.

Seen winning over the crowd in Place Jacques Cartier in Vieux Montreal. Like a summer storm which appears out

of clear blue skies, a crowd suddenly materializes as one of Montreal's able street performers draws people in.

Located in the heart of Vieux Montreal (Old Montreal) just up from the Old Port.

Seen as the physical embodiment of the moment; the drums starting to fade at Montreal's Tam Tam.

The Tam Tam is an almost unworldly experience. The drums pick you up and sweep you away to

another time and another place. The celebration happens every Sunday in the warmer months. Located

at the base of Mont Royal at "the monument" on Avenue du Parc, between Pine and Mont Royal Blvd.

Seen radiant in the shadows of the old mill at Parc l'Ile-de-la-Visitation. Montreal has a broad spectrum

of backdrops for photo shoots and movies. Models and actors are often spotted in the city in a variety of locales,

including or course our restaurants and bars. As I was about to leave, this apparition acknowledged my

presence with a smile. l'Ile-de-la-Visitation is one of Montreal's beautiful nature parks which line the north shore

of the island.
