White Water Paddling

Diable River Rouge One of North America's priemier whitewater rivers it originates in the Reserve Faunique Rouge-Matawin and eventually empties into the Ottawa river just north of Calumet/Hawkesbury. The river has lots of rapids and a number of waterfalls on route. Several companies offer rafting and kayaking on the rivers lower section - 200km. Cross Country Skiing

There are over 100km of ski trails in the Saint Jovite and Mont Tremblant village and resort areas. Ranging from easy to the extremely difficult runs on the mountain best suited for backcountry/telemark skiers. The trails include traditional and trails for skating.
